Your Role

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide confidential, high‑level support to the Deputy Director‑General, Digital Innovation, enabling the effective delivery of divisional priorities.

You will operate in a fast‑paced, newly established division within the Department of Education, managing complex workflows, coordinating communications, and supporting a dynamic leadership team to drive digital innovation across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities

As the Executive Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the Deputy Director‑General's diary, meetings, travel and daily workflow to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  • Prepare, review and quality‑assure correspondence, meeting papers, agendas, minutes and briefing materials.
  • Maintain effective administrative, financial and compliance processes in line with departmental requirements.
  • Liaise with departmental staff, government agencies and external stakeholders on behalf of the Deputy Director‑General.
  • Provide high‑level secretariat support, including managing action items and meeting documentation.
  • Support short‑term research tasks, projects and priorities as required.
  • Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement and high‑quality service delivery.
