Description:
- Manage trust accounts in line with relevant regulations and legislative requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Oversee daily banking and cash flow management for trust accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all trust accounting standards and practices.
- Assist with audits and liaise with auditors as required.
- Provide support and advice to internal teams on trust accounting matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements:
A successful Trust Accountant should have:
- A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience working within trust accounting, preferably in the Property industry.
- Strong knowledge of trust accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Conditions:
- Competitive salary package between $90,000 and $100,000 USD inclusive of Super.
