Description:
- Processing end‑to‑end payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Ensuring compliance with tax, superannuation, and statutory reporting
- Preparing month‑end journals, reconciliations, and year‑end reporting
- Troubleshooting payroll and superannuation queries
- Analysing payroll variances and supporting Finance with insights
- Assisting with systems updates, testing, and enhancements
- Identifying and implementing payroll process improvements
- Supporting HR with general administrative tasks when required
Requirements:
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- 5+ years' experience in payroll processing within the accounting and finance field.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretations.
- Strong working knowledge of ADP Payforce, UKG Kronos or SAP
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
