Description:

The Sales Manager will drive a culture of sales excellence, accountability, and execution. The role will be fully remote with a requirement to travel domestically up to 50% of the year.

You will lead and develop a team of technical sales professionals to:

    • Retain existing customers through value-based, long-term relationship building.
    • Grow existing accounts through channel-first strategies aligned to our commercial priorities.
    • Gain new customers and secure additional market share in line with the growth roadmap.



Talent Development & Performance Management

  • Proactively manage individual and team performance in line with organisational objectives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Build an environment that encourages feedback and empowerment that supports capability building.



Strategic Growth & Market Value Proposition

  • Continuously enhance and communicate the value proposition by leveraging company capabilities, insights, and resources.
  • Develop and execute robust account plans detailing customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, satisfaction metrics, and continuous improvement actions.



Customer & Industry Engagement

  • Build deep customer intimacy with key accounts, ensuring strong relationships across all critical stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and buying motives.



Commercial Leadership

  • Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that elevate organisational performance and drive incremental improvements.



Requirements:

The successful Sales Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership ideally within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. You will have led medium size teams with the ability to drive accountability while leading with empathy.
  • A strong track record in not only managing existing revenue pipelines but also building repeatable systems that deliver growth
  • You will have a coaching mindset and be someone who thrives on developing teams and driving improvement
  • You will be a data driven leader who can effectively use various sales analytics to influence key decisions

Conditions:

  • Competitive salary package ranging from AUD 165000 to AUD 180000 plus super, vehicle/allowance and bonus
