Description:
- Month‑end close and preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow)
- Departmental P&L reviews across venue functions
- Budget vs actual analysis with clear variance commentary
- Daily revenue processing, POS reconciliations and accounting for settlements, taxes and commissions
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial records (assets, debtors, stock, employee entitlements)
- Support with budgets and forecasts in collaboration with FP&A
- BAS preparation and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assistance with year‑end accounts and internal/external audits
- Continuous improvement of processes, controls and reporting
- Acting as a trusted finance contact for operational managers on site
Requirements:
- Degree‑qualified accountant with minimum 3 years experience
- Exposure to working in large hospitality or entertainment environments (beneficial)
- Working toward CPA or CA , with a desire to progress
- Comfortable engaging with non‑finance stakeholders and being visible on site
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance deadlines and changing priorities
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
